What is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal uses pulses of light to directly target the hair and impact its ability to regrow. The pigment in the hair absorbs the light, which destroys the hair. Since our hair’s growth cycles have a resting and falling-out phase, not all hair can be treated with every treatment, which is why multiple treatments are required. We suggest a minimum of six treatments.
Does it hurt?
No! We’re able to adjust the strength to customize each treatment specifically for the patient. We also have a zimmer which blows cool air directly to the treated area to ensure you have optimal comfort.
Often, people will describe the sensation as a rubber band snapping on the skin very quickly. This is temporary, and you should not experience any form of pain or discomfort after the treatment. For sensitive areas, we do have numbing agents that are applied to the area to ensure you have optimal comfort the entire treatment.
